This fabulous apartment is just seconds from Princes Street and all of Edinburgh’s main sightseeing areas. It is a first floor, one bedroom property, sleeping four in total
The delightful open plan living area has full-length windows, and almost sound-proof glazing. The décor is contemporary, with a leather sofa that converts in to a sofa bed. There are two larges flat screen TVs in the property with Sky Movies and Sport, as well as WiFi throughout. The kitchen is fully fitted, and has all mod cons.
The light and airy master bedroom has a large double bed, plentiful storage, and views over Shandwick Place. A modern family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle completes this lovely home from home.
The local area is packed with the usual city centre delights; shopping, bars, restaurants, and of course the world famous Edinburgh Castle. The tranquil Princes Street Gardens are also just a short walk away. Shandwick Place has several small supermarkets, a Boots chemist, and coffee shops. Edidnburgh Waverley and Haymarket train stations are ten minutes away, and plentiful frequent bus routes are within the immediate area.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of £30 for unsociable hours, arrivals after 10 pm will incur a fee of £50 and arrivals after midnight, a fee of £60. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.
Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
Please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 25 pounds for unsociable hours and 40 pounds for arrivals after 11pm.
Please note, if you require the sofa bed to be made up and have only booked for two guests, there will be an additional fee for the provision of the sofa bed.

Within 5 minutes you can walk along Edinburgh's famous Princes Street with its spectacular castle views, beautiful gardens and many shops. Alternatively you can walk along George Street with it's many designer shops during the day (including Harvey Nichols Department Store) and at night its wide variety of stylish bars and restaurants. George Street is also partly closed to traffic in August to make way for The Famous Spiegeltent at Edinburgh International Festival. The venue will be erected as part of a pedestrianised terrace in front of the newly refurbished Assembly Rooms.
Haymarket Train Station is within 10 minutes walk, and Waverley Train Station is within 20 minutes walk. The apartment has many bus stops near by with access out to Edinburgh Airport, Edinburgh Zoo, The Ocean Terminal and Royal Yacht Britannia and most of the Edinburgh Festival venues. There is even a Sainsbury's local supermarket on the ground floor open until 11 every night.
