Stepps is situated around five miles to the North-East of Glasgow and only 48 miles from the stunning, historic capital city of Edinburgh. It is also only 21 miles from Stirling with its castle and stunning Wallace monument. All 3 cities offer culture, historic monuments, theatres, and art galleries in abundance. Stepps also acts as a natural gateway to the North allowing easy driving access towards Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Scotland’s various national parks and mountain ranges.
The village of Stepps is twinned with Les Marches in the Savoie region of France and even has its own Stepps community website. It has two churches, Stepps Parish and St Josephs, a pharmacy, dental care centre, a doctors surgery, local shops, hairdressers and beauty parlour, restaurants, local bars and a Bannatyne’s gym. Train and bus links makes Stepps an easy commuter base for travelling.
