This exclusive retreat is a log cabin in the most authentic sense. It has been built with giant Western Red Cedar logs, handcrafted in Canada using traditional methods. It sits amongst several acres of secluded woodland, just 50 metres from the shore of Loch Garry and overlooking a babbling burn (small river). Upstream is a wonderful Sir Thomas Telford bridge, giving access to yet more picturesque woodland and shoreline.
2 canoes, 2 paddle boards and a rowing boat are available for all guests to use during their stay.
Lifejackets, aqua shoes and wet bags also available.
Viewing deck at the front of the boat house.
Fire pit/outdoor kitchen in the woodlands out the back.
Pizza oven and Gas BBQ on the rear deck
Level access from the car park to the front door.
Master bedroom with large wet room on the ground floor.
Additional wet room/toilet on the ground floor.

Directions
By Plane & Car
If you are getting a hire car from Inverness airport, stop at Tesco’s en-route to Inverness for any groceries as it is the one decent supermarket you will drive past on the way to the cabin. It is open 24/7 including all Sunday night.
If you are driving from Fort William direction, there are a few supermarkets and an M&S there too.
Best to stock up on the way as the village does not have anything apart from some basics in the garage which does open until 9pm every day.
Some sat nav's will send you further than you need to go using the postcode, but this link will work perfectly:

Old school directions:
Once you leave the A82 and join the A87 at Invergarry, drive another 10 minutes towards Skye.
Turn left on the Tomdoun Road and Caledonian Cabin is just 200 meters down there on the left, you can’t miss it!
If your travelling from Skye, once on the A87 towards Invergarry drive for about 10 minutes, you will then see signs for Tomdoun and Kinlochurn (and the cabin), take the next right turn and Caledonian Cabin is just 200 meters down there on the left, you can’t miss it!
If you get to the fish farm you have gone way too far and not read these instructions!
Just leave the area in front of the Bunkhouse clear.
Just 200 yards on the left after turning off the A87, big log cabin - can't miss it unless you follow the postcode in your Sat Nav!
The most beautiful, tranquil, idyllic place to stay where you can unwind and forget about the world. Set on a stunning site yet not far from interesting places to visit. The log cabin has a very welcoming atmosphere and is a most homely, comfortable place to stay with all mod cons. I love it!!!!
