The Rankeillor Street Residence’s lounge is a perfect marriage of old and new, pairing chic furnishings with the truly dramatic Victorian architectural elements. Gaze up at the characteristically Edinburgh high ceiling, with beautiful cornice designs and chandelier-style lighting which adds a sense of grandeur to the room. This is truly a property which will make your friends green with envy. Large bay windows provide ample light throughout the day - even when the famous Scottish grey skies come to stay. A fluffy fawn carpet completes the room, which absolutely brims with understated elegance.
Move through to the kitchen and you’ll be greeted by another gloriously light and airy room, which features all the mod-cons you’d expect from such a wonderful property. Cook up a gastronomic feast or simply sit at the table and enjoy a pizza - if you’re too lazy to cook, we won’t tell - you’re on holiday after all! The kitchen also features a charming breakfast area with a stylish glass table, which has enough room to seat 6 famished guests.

When it’s time to visit the land of nod, wander through to one of the Rankeillor Street Residence’s cosy bedrooms. Decorated in lush pastel colours and featuring fluffy double beds, these bedrooms are a treat for the weary traveller. A family bathroom completes this property, just as beautifully decorated as the rest of the apartment, and featuring a bath over shower - so whether you’re in the mood for an early morning shower, or a late night soak, we’ve got you covered. There is also a separate shower room.
If you can bear to drag yourself away from this delightful property, you’ll find yourself in Edinburgh’s fashionable Newington area. Awash with delis, cafes and shops, you can quite easily spend hours here, experiencing new tastes or sipping fresh coffee. A small stroll away lies the bridges - North and South Bridge, as well as Chambers Street. All three areas are hubs filled with things to do and see, including the National Museum of Scotland and Greyfriar’s Kirk, which are both certainly worth a visit!
This property is also ideally located for all of you festival goers - Potterrow doubles as an excellent festival venue during the summer months, and is just a short stroll away! Also nearby is Edinburgh Universitys Teviot, which acts as a chilled out bar and restaurant during term time and transforms into famous festival venue Gilded Balloon, home to If you’d like world renowned comedians and comedy shows. Udderbelly also makes its pasture in George Square ( a mere hop, skip and a jump from Teviot), and has been home to comedy, theatre, physical theatre, circus, dance, children's shows and music of a fantastic calibre. There really is NO better location experience every aspect of Edinburgh's exciting festival season! If you'd like to venture further afield, then the area is well serviced by Lothian buses, which can take you all over the city.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 25 pounds for unsociable hours and 40 pounds for arrivals after 11pm. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.
Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.

This property doesn't come with free parking but there is paid street parking in local area for additional fee. There is a street parking on Hermits Croft. You will have to reserve the place through Just Park app. It charges you £3 for 2 hrs.
